Who are we?
The Philippine Water Partnership (PWP) was launched on World Water Day, 22 March 2002. It is composed of member institutions that are actively engaged in various areas of water resources development and management. These institutions may be national, metropolitan, or regional organizations, be they national government agencies (NGAs), government-owned-or-controlled corporations (GOCCs), non-government organizations (NGOs), private sector (including consultants, contractors, service providers, umbrella organizations, etc.), the academe and research institutions, and local government units (LGUs). The PWP was registered with the Securities and Exchange Commission under Reg. No. CN 200253925 on 28 August 2002 as a non-stock, non-profit corporation under the laws of the Republic of the Philippines.
The registered name of PWP is “Philippine Water Partnership Organization, Inc.” The National Economic and Development Authority Board (NEDA Board) approved the accreditation of PWP as an NGO partner of the government in addressing water resources issues on 22 August 2002.
